If love had four legs, it would probably look a lot like Molasses.Known as "Molly" in her foster home, this sweet girl lives up to her name in every way. Her favorite place in the world is curled up next to her favorite person, soaking up ear scratches, belly rubs, and all the affection you have to offer. If you're searching for a loyal companion who simply wants to love and be loved, Molly is your perfect match.While she's still discovering how much fun toys can be, she already knows she loves stretching her legs in the yard, chewing on a good bone, and joining her people for walks. She walks nicely on a harness and enjoys getting out to explore the neighborhood.Molly has a wonderfully gentle, calm personality and gets along beautifully with dogs of all sizes, both male and female. She's also non-reactive around cats, making her an easy addition to many different types of households.She's already mastered "sit" and is working on "down" and "off." Molly is also making great progress with potty training. She does very well overall and only has the occasional accident as she continues settling into a routine.With her sweet disposition, affectionate heart, and easygoing nature, Molly is ready to become someone's faithful best friend, walking buddy, and favorite couch companion.They were rescued from a shelter in New Mexico.Meet and greets are by appointment only.  An approved application is required to schedule a meeting. Approved Applicants may make the adoption fee payment by clicking donate above.  Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog. If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded. Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance.  We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect).  Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets.
