Ridzo

Description

Ridzo is a 5 year old Boxer/Pointer mix, he currently weighs around 50 pounds.   This sweet boy went to the door of one of the gym's in town and begged for help.  They were so incredibly kind and let him inside.  One of their customers took him home and gave him some food and water then called us.  Ridzo has had quite a life story that we will never know about, but he is as sweet as they come.   He tested positive for Lyme disease and Heart worm disease.  He is very underweight and also had hookworms.  He was treated for the hook worms and the Lyme disease but his big hurdle will be the heart worm treatment.  He will need a comfortable place to stay while he rests and the medicine kills all the horrible worms in his heart.  Once he is done with the heart worm treatment he can be neutered and he has a mass on his rear end that will be addressed if needed. Right now he is boarding and everyone is in love with him.  He is so calm and humble and very thankful for the help he's getting.  He does potty outdoors but will sometimes poop in the kennel.  Our guess is he's been outside for a long time and he will need to get used to being an inside dog.  He is great with other dogs and even let a cat sniff his tail.   Please fill out an application if you can foster or even better adopt Ridzo.
