Description
Meet Biggs – The Loyal Best Friend You've Been Looking For Biggs is the kind of dog who quietly steals your heart. This handsome Lab mix has been through more than most dogs his age. After losing his beloved owner unexpectedly, Biggs found himself navigating a completely different world alongside his sister, Marley. Losing the only family he's ever known has been a difficult adjustment, but Biggs is ready to find a new place to belong. At his core, Biggs is a smart, playful, and affectionate boy who loves having a job to do. His favorite game? Catching balls right out of the air and chasing them down with impressive enthusiasm. If you're looking for a fetch partner, Biggs is more than up for the challenge. While he can be cautious with new people at first, Biggs warms up with a little patience and understanding. Once he feels safe, his sweet personality shines through. He loves cuddling with his people, enjoys spending time with other dogs, and thrives on routine and consistency. Biggs already comes with all the basics in place. He's house trained, crate trained, and walks nicely on a leash. He's eager to please, highly intelligent, and enjoys learning, making him an easy companion for a family willing to give him the time he needs to settle in. One thing that's especially important to Biggs is companionship. He has always shared life with his sister Marley and enjoys having canine friends around. While we'd love to see them stay together, we know that finding a home for both may be a tall order. Biggs would also do well with another friendly dog who can help him feel secure and continue building confidence. Because he's active, curious, and occasionally adventurous, Biggs will need a securely fenced yard where he can safely run, play, and enjoy his favorite games. Biggs isn't looking for perfection. He's looking for a family that understands healing takes time and that the strongest bonds are often built through patience, trust, and love. If you're ready to give a deserving dog a second chance, Biggs is ready to become your loyal companion, your fetch partner, and your very best friend. Biggs is up to date on vaccines and tested negative for heartworm. Biggs has been neutered and has a microchip. His adoption fee is $500. Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through, they deserve a loving, committed home.
