Meet Peaches – The Sweetest Little Soul You'll Ever Know Some dogs bounce into your life full speed ahead. Peaches is different. She's the kind of dog who quietly tiptoes into your heart and stays there forever. This adorable Pit Bull/ Rat Terrier mix is a gentle, sensitive girl who is still learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. We don't know exactly what Peaches has been through, but it's clear she hasn't always known kindness. She can be nervous in new situations, especially outdoors, and needs a little time to build confidence. The good news? Every day she gets a little braver. Once Peaches decides you're one of her people, you'll discover the sweet, affectionate, goofy girl hiding beneath her shy exterior. She loves toys, enjoys playing with other dogs, and happily curls up in a lap when it's time to relax. She gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and respectful children, making her a great addition to a calm and patient home. One thing is certain: Peaches absolutely loves having canine friends around. She takes comfort from other dogs and would thrive in a home with a confident companion who can show her the ropes and help her continue building trust. Peaches is already making great progress with her potty training and continues to gain confidence every day. She doesn't need a family looking for the life of the party.  She needs a family willing to celebrate the small victories, offer gentle encouragement, and let her blossom at her own pace. Watching a shy dog learn to trust is one of the most rewarding experiences imaginable, and Peaches is ready for someone special to help her write the next chapter of her story. Peaches is up to date on vaccines and tested negative for heartworm.  She has been spayed and has a microchip. Her adoption fee is $600.  Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training   prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through, they deserve a loving, committed home.
