INFO: Meet Onyx - one of our Long-Stay Legends! Our Long-Stay Legends have been at the shelter for over a year and it's time they find the homes they deserve. We believe that a year is far too long to wait for a forever family and so does Onyx! Onyx is friendly, easy to walk on leash, has calm energy but can become silly and playful. He does have some medical issues related to his age but still gets around well. He was recently diagnosed with severe degenerative joint disease. If adopted/rescued an orthopedic consult is recommended.This pet is currently being fostered but is available for adoption! Please email petadopt@longbeach.gov for more information.
