WATCH MY VIDEO...Harris is a handsome 10-month-old brown tabby with a big personality, lots of energy, and an even bigger love for playtime! This active and friendly young cat was previously adopted, but returned because he has a habit of play biting. The important thing to know is that Harris is not aggressive and does not mean any harm. In fact, it seems like his little nibbles are often his way of communicating, almost like he’s saying, “Hey, something’s up!” His former family noticed that Harris may use his playful bites to let people know when he’s hungry, wants attention, or when something like his litter box needs attention. Because of this behavior, Harris would do best with a family that understands cat behavior and is willing to work patiently on redirecting and correcting his communication style. Small children, or people with delicate skin that could easily be injured by playful scratching or nibbling, are probably not the best fit for him. Other than that, Harris is truly a wonderful cat. He’s social, playful, curious, and loves interacting with people. He would likely thrive in a home filled with enrichment, including plenty of toys, scratchers, climbing spaces, and active play sessions to help channel his energy in positive ways. Harris is still young and learning, and with the right family willing to guide him, he has all the potential to become an amazing lifelong companion.
