Description

Take a look at our boy Roy and get lost in his soulful eyes. Roy might have had a family, but we just do not know. Was he out on the streets long? We just do not know. He was found roaming the streets prior to rescue. What we do know is that he certainly deserves a family to call his own. We are going to put Roy on the right track to finding his happily ever after. We know he has a bright future ahead of him. Roy is a one-year-old hound mix. He weighs in at around 40 pounds making him a medium sized boy.Roy has lots of potential at being and awesome family dog. He does well with other dogs, children and adults. He is an energetic boy who is looking to have some good company and playmates along the way. He has not been exposed to cats since coming into rescue. He may have an energetic side but he also very affectionate and loving side as well. He might be the ying and yang of the dog world or maybe he has a little bit of country on one side and a little bit of rock and roll on the other side.Roy is working hard on his house, crate and leash training. He is ready to put all his effort into making it a successful mission. He knows his forever family will support and assist him until he has mastered his skill set. Long summer nights are ideal for family gatherings around the campfire. Roy is ready to hang out with his family by the fire and listen to campfire stories or perhaps strolls on the beach or walks in the park. The sky is the limit with Roy as part of your forever family. He is ready to join his family on every adventure or hangout possible.* When considering adoption, keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust much better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability. The adoption fee for Roy is $500.
