Meet Mr Newman– Looking for a Patient, Loving Home He is a handsome doodle who is around 2 years old. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccines. Now, he's searching for a family willing to give him the time and understanding he needs to truly shine. Mr Newman came to us from a hoarding situation and has had very limited exposure to the world. Because of this, new people, new places, and new experiences can be overwhelming for him. He is a sweet boy at heart, but he needs a patient adopter who will let him move at his own pace and show him that life doesn't have to be scary. We feel he would do best in a home with another confident, friendly dog to help guide him and show him the ropes. Having a canine companion could make a huge difference in helping him build confidence. Due to his nervous nature, we believe a home with older, respectful children would be the best fit. We are unsure how he does with cats, so any introductions would need to be very slow, patient, and carefully managed. Mr Newman will also benefit from continued training. Positive reinforcement training will not only help him learn important life skills but will also help build his confidence and strengthen the bond with his new family. He isn't looking for perfection—he's looking for someone willing to believe in him.
