Maybelline

Description

I adopted Maybelline as a puppy through a local foster program. She is a mix of all the bullies, with pitbull being her main breed. She is four years old, roughly 52 lbs., and is currently on meds for Valley Fever as well as a bit of incontinence (sporadic). She is the ultimate lover of her person/people - snuggles and kisses galore. She loves walks and is a master swimmer. However, she has developed an aggressiveness towards other dogs when she feels at all challenged. Despite extensive training, her instincts to dominate by grabbing dogs by the back of their neck has happened a handful of times now - most recently to her own sister, which is why I am looking to rehome her. Although she's never seriously injured the other dogs, I can't take the risk within our home. She is a wonderful companion and would do well in a home without other pets. Although she's never been aggressive towards humans, I don't think small kids in the home would be a good idea. She is a happy and goofy girl, except for at the moment because she's in a soft muzzle or shut into my bedroom, which is not how I want for her to spend her life.
