Hello!  We’d like you to meet Missy!  At 6 years old, Missy is the definition of a perfect house cat. This sweet, polite lady was heartbreakingly returned after spending her entire life with one owner—but if you ask us, it’s impossible to understand why. Missy is an absolute angel. She loves curling up beside her people for a snuggle or a nap, but she’s respectful of your space and never pushy. While she can be a little shy when meeting new people, once she settles in, she’s a chatty, affectionate companion who will happily tell you all about her day. Her favorite things include sunbathing, stretching out her adorable toe beans, gravy treats, silvervine sticks, and chasing a wand toy. Missy previously lived with other cats and seems to miss having feline friends around, so she may enjoy a home with another cat companion. She would likely do well with children who respect her boundaries, though she’d rather keep all four paws on the ground than be carried around. Dogs are an unknown, but with slow introductions, she may adjust just fine. If you’re looking for a gentle, loving companion to share your couch, your sunny windows, and your heart, Missy is waiting to meet you.     I am located in the Wilmington, NC area. Unless otherwise noted I can be met on Saturdays at the PetSmart in Monkey Junction (5226 S. College Rd) from 10 am - 4 pm.
