This boy was blowing along in the breeze, surviving on his wits and a dream!  Tumbleweed is smart and resourceful, but he just had a feeling there was something more out there. . . that some of those two-legged creatures he saw around could be part of his life.  We trapped him to neuter, and he let us know about his dream!  We explained that some of us actually adopt cats and take them home to provide for them forever. . . he said GOOD DEAL!!   Tumbleweed is calm and quiet, so certainly suitable if you're over it with kitten energy.  He is a very chill boy, but he likes people and is curious about what they are doing!  He would be your most loyal buddy.  After trying to survive on his own, he is grateful for what he's given and loves the relaxing lifestyle. One thing about Tumbleweed's time on the street is that he contracted a retrovirus called FIV.  This is not easily transmissible (only through deep bite wounds) or as scary as it was once thought to be.  His immune system is just a little lower than cats without FIV.  All he needs to manage the condition is the same care as any other Catsnap cat--good food, an indoor home, prompt vet care, and lots of love!  Do you have any love to spare for Tumbleweed?  He is waiting for you to make his dream of a family come true!!   Thank you for your interest in a CATsNAP cat or kitten!    If you would like to meet a cat, please complete the online application located on our website catsnap.org.     We do not have a walk-in facility; most of our cats are in foster homes.  For this reason, we require an approved application on file before we set up a meet and greet.    Completing an online application does not obligate you to adopt! We care deeply about our cats and want the best match for all involved.    All CATsNAP cats and kittens are:  Vaccination against Panleukopenia (Distemper), Rhinotracheitis, and Calicivirus   Vaccination against Rabies (if animal is over 4 months of age)  Testing for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV)   Initial de-worming, flea, and ear mite treatment  Sterilization of the animal prior to adoption; no exceptions  Micro-chipping as mandated by state law
