Meet Mike! This handsome boy is a one-year-old Shepherd/Boxer mix who recently celebrated his first birthday. Weighing about 50 pounds, Mike is likely finished growing and is the perfect size!Mike is a sweet and gentle soul. While he can be a little shy when meeting some new people, he typically warms up quickly. Once you’ve earned his trust, you’ll discover a loving companion who wants nothing more than to be close to his people. He loves cuddling, resting his head in your lap, and soaking up affection.Mike gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would thrive in a home with a confident canine companion to help show him the ropes. Having another dog around helps him feel his most confident. He enjoys playing with the dogs in his foster home. Mike would do best in a home without cats or other small animals. When he’s not hanging out with his people or dog friends, Mike enjoys spending time outdoors, chasing after a ball, or entertaining himself with a favorite chew toy. He’s also perfectly happy taking a cozy nap on the couch.Mike is both house-trained and crate-trained, making him an easy addition to a lucky family.
