RAYA NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Name: Raya          Best Guess for Breed:  Boxer and lab mix  Best Guess for Age:  6 months as of June 2026        SEX:  Female   Approximate Weight:   29 lbs as of 6/1/26; she is still growing.   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:   South Carolina shelter - needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here!   Raya is Looking For: Raya and her sister Rhythm have loved growing up together but now they're ready to split up and get their own homes! Raya is at the tail end of puppyhood - she's got all that awesome young dog energy and wants to play and explore and then snuggle after a fun day together. Making pup pals is high on her wish list as well - and she'd also like to go to dog school, to learn all about being the bestest girl! (Shelter staff say she is happy and confident on leash - she's already well on her way!)   Most of all, though, she wants to know where she belongs, to always be safe and loved. In exchange she promises loyal companionship for all her days. What do you say? Can you see her by your side? What My Foster Says About Me:   We will update this once this pup has spent time in foster care. Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this puppy is $485, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
