Cheeni (A142324) is a 9-month-old Lab mix who weighed 43.3 pounds on intake! 06/02/26 This little lady is Cheeni! Cheeni arrived at the shelter as a stray and is now looking for her new place to call home! Since she was a stray, we do not know if she has experience with children or other animals. It is important that you are making appropriate introductions to help set her up for success. We have found that at times, Cheeni will try to zip out of her kennel, so she may be a door bolter. Please keep this in mind as she settles into her new home and routine. Cheeni has had some gi distress since arriving at the shelter and was started on an appropriate treatment plan. She is being treated for Giardia which is zoonotic so it is important to be picking up her feces and washing your hands. She has been cleared for adoption and is starting to feel much better! As she had an upset stomach, it is hard to tell if she is housebroken and may need some continued work in her new home. We also encourage her next owner to bring her to a basic obedience class with a certified trainer to continue working on her manners and learn a trick or two!
