Description

Lillybee is an 8‑year‑old, 11‑lb Poodle with a warm, adaptable spirit and a joyful little trot that makes her impossible not to love!   Quick Facts: Name: Lillybee Breed: Miniature Poodle Age: 8 years old Weight: 11 lbs. House-Trained: 99% there! Crate-Trained: No Good with Dogs: Yes Good with Cats: Not tested Good with Kids: Yes Energy Level: Low Fence Required: No Dog’s Location: Raleigh, NC   About Lillybee’s Breed: Our best guess is that Lillybee is a Miniature Poodle. Mini Poodles are known for being bright, affectionate, and wonderfully people‑oriented, with a mix of intelligence and sensitivity that makes them both charming and deeply loyal companions. They tend to bond closely with their families, enjoy being included in daily routines, and often carry that classic Poodle combination of elegance and playfulness. Because they’re small, intuitive, and quick to learn, they fit beautifully into many lifestyles — from quiet homes to active ones — as long as they feel secure and connected to their people.   Their ideal home is one that offers steady companionship, gentle structure, and mental engagement, since Mini Poodles thrive when their minds and hearts are both involved. They do well with families who appreciate a smart, affectionate dog and can provide consistent routines, light daily exercise, and plenty of closeness. A home that values companionship, positive reinforcement, and a calm environment will bring out the very best in this thoughtful little breed.   What to Love about Lillybee: Lillybee learns her surroundings quickly and is always thrilled to see her people, greeting everyone — including kids — with her gentle, happy energy! She isn’t a barker and has an easygoing temperament that makes her a wonderful companion for a calm home. Lillybee gets along well with other dogs, though she may occasionally try to hump them, and while she hasn’t met cats yet, she’d be open to a proper meet‑and‑greet. She’s been great on a leash and doesn’t need much exercise — a short daily walk and plenty of indoor lounging suit her perfectly.   Lillybee knows to go potty outside but still has occasional accidents as she continues to settle into routine. She hasn’t used a crate in her foster home because she’s so polite and respectful indoors, and she can be left alone without issue. She doesn’t require a fenced yard and is perfectly content being taken out on leash. With her sweet nature, low‑maintenance lifestyle, and love for people, Lillybee is ready to become a cherished member of her forever family — one that will adore her as much as she adores them!   Lillybee’s Lovely Highlights: Adaptable little lady — learns new environments quickly and settles in with ease People‑loving sweetheart — adores everyone she meets, including kids Quiet companion — not a barker and brings a calm presence to the home Dog‑friendly social girl — gets along with other dogs, though may occasionally try to hump them Cat‑curious candidate — hasn’t met cats yet but open to a proper meet and greet Easy leash walker — great on a leash and happy with short daily strolls Low‑exercise lifestyle — content with brief walks and plenty of indoor lounge time Mostly potty trained — knows to go outside but still has occasional accidents Respectful house guest — polite indoors and doesn’t need a crate when left alone   Comprehensive details are provided in the dog's description. to ensure a smooth process, please submit a completed application through our website at: http://crisisdogsnc.org/dog-adoption/.
