Bruce

Description

As of June 4 2026 Bruce is about 4 years old.  This sweet boy came to The Cat Network after being alone on in a vacant house for a very long time.  He had no social skills and did know how to be a cat.  Over many months of going slow and positive reinforcement Bruce has fully become himself.  He loves other cats, he loves special treats, he loves to play, and he really enjoys any cat scratching house he can get his paws on.   Bruce does have FIV.  Because Bruce is a lover and not a fighter this is something that  is very easily managed.  He just needs to make sure he gets his yearly vet check ups- and if he has a sniffle or a sneeze monitor closely.  In the year plus he has been with the network he has been quite healthy.   Bruce adores other cats.  He likes them so much that he must get adopted with another cat he is friends with.  He really enjoys spending time with Fiddle, Toby, and Miss Honey.  Bruce is incredibly treat motivated.  It is this strong motivation that led him to discover how much he loves getting attention from people and all the head scritches.  Bruce does well around ladies and the few men that he has met.  He needs a slow introduction and a churu or perhaps some ham baby food will send him coming right over to you.  We do not know how he will be around dogs and small children but think that it might be a little bit too much for him.  Bruce has had an amazing transformation and he is ready to find his forever home with one of his besties.  He is truly a marvel.
