She can be very shy and easily overwhelmed when there’s too much activity around her, and her previous home, which included cats, dogs, and children, was simply more excitement than she was comfortable with. While Rhubarb may take some time to come out of her shell, she truly enjoys affection and loves being pet once she feels safe. She’s the kind of cat who needs patience, understanding, and a calm environment where she can build trust at her own pace. As her confidence grows, her sweet personality begins to shine through. In her previous home, Rhubarb generally kept to herself around the other pets and preferred to avoid them rather than interact much. Because of that, she may do well with a calm, low-key cat or dog who will respect her space and allow her to settle in comfortably. Rhubarb isn't looking for a fast-paced lifestyle. She’s looking for a peaceful place where she can feel secure, loved, and understood.
