Meet Millie, a beautiful 2 year old Terrier mix weighing just under 15 pounds. This sweet girl is looking for a loving forever home where she can feel safe, build confidence, and form a strong bond with her person. Millie is shy at first and needs time to adjust, but once she trusts you, she becomes a devoted companion who simply wants to be near you. She is crate trained, sleeps comfortably through the night in her crate, and does well when left alone. Millie is making great progress with both leash and potty training. She understands the cue "outside" and is learning commands like "stay." She can live with other dogs as long as they give her the time and space she needs to settle in. Quiet by nature, Millie rarely barks and prefers a calm environment where she can feel secure. More affectionate than playful, Millie loves relaxing in the sunshine, watching the world go by, and spending time beside her favorite person. Whether she is curled up on the couch for tummy rubs or sitting quietly at your side, she is happiest when included in daily life.
