Description

Everyone please give a massive welcome to the newest member of our rescue family—Cheena! This 26-pound cutie pie was sitting in the shelter, but rescue stepped in just in time. Now, she is safely decompressing in her wonderful Upstate New York foster home and settling in beautifully. And to answer your first question: nope, your eyes aren't deceiving you... we ain't just pits!  The Cheena Profile: Age & Breed: Around 2 years old and some sort of adorable doodley mix! Personality: Exceptionally friendly, deeply affectionate, and absolutely loves people. Dogs: Doing wonderfully and loves her canine foster buddies. Kids: Good with children, though she can play a little rough when she gets excited, so she’d love a family ready to work on basic manners with her. Home Life: Shelter notes say she is incredibly playful and loved to follow her family around like a little shadow. While the shelter mentioned potential potty issues, her foster family hasn't seen a single accident—she's proving to be a perfect little lady! Cheena is an incredibly sweet-natured girl who is going to make someone the ultimate companion. She is ready to find her true forever home! All of our animals receive comprehensive veterinary care prior to adoption, including a full exam, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, microchipping, spay or neuter, heartworm testing, and any necessary medical treatment.   A vet reference, home and/or family visit, and an adoption fee are required.   Transport options are available within our operating region, including Pennsylvania, the tri-state area, and New England. We do not adopt animals to Canada.    For more information or to submit an application, please visit pmarinc.org.
