Hi, I’m Poochie. I’m  2 years old, fluffy, sweet, and full of love—and I’ve been waiting for my forever home for almost a year now. Some people see that I’m blind and keep scrolling. But what they don’t see is how quickly I learn my surroundings, how confidently I walk beside my people, or how happy I am just being close to the ones I love. I don’t need eyes to find my way into your heart—I just need a chance. I love going for walks, soaking up outdoor adventures, and cuddling after a long day. My foster family even took me camping, and I did great! I may not see the world, but I experience it with my whole heart. Although I have gotten along with some dogs, I would be happiest as the only pet in the home where I can feel safe, secure, and soak up all the love and attention. It would be nice for me to have a fenced yard so I could run like the wind, but I could also settle for lots of walks with my family. I think I am pretty smart—I know “sit” and “shake.” I love car rides and I sleep through the night. I am the perfect medium size, the humans tell me I weigh 50lbs. I’m crate trained, spayed, up to date on my vaccines, and I occasionally need eye drops—nothing scary, I promise. What I really need is someone patient, kind, and ready to love a dog who will give them everything she has in return. I’ve waited so long. I’m still here. And I’m still hoping that someone out there will finally choose me. Love, Poochie
