Description
Meet Corra. This tiny little survivor is approximately 5 weeks old and weighs just 1 pound, but what she lacks in size she makes up for in resilience. Corra was picked up by Animal Control after being discovered by an HEB employee tucked away in the cart corral, proving that sometimes the sweetest treasures are found in the most unexpected places. Now safe and receiving the care she needs, Corra is ready to leave her rough start behind and begin the next chapter of her story with a loving forever family. You may notice her eyes are a little different and there is a reason for that. She does have a condition called eyelid Agenesis. Eyelid agenesis, also known as eyelid coloboma, is a birth defect in which the eyelid does not form properly during embryonic development. She was examined by our shelter vet and Corra is a candidate for reconstruction surgery which would occur at the same date as her spay. The procedure will improve her overall quality of life. Her adoption fee is $75 and includes her spay, microchip, rabies vaccine, first FVRCP vaccine, and first dewormer. Interested adopters should note that per Texas state law, Corra will be required to return to our facility for her spay appointment on Wednesday 07/22/26. If you are ready to give this precious little girl the safe and loving home she deserves, please submit an adoption application at https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/.
